5 Benefits of Owning a Water Jet

You’ve been considering a water jet for your machine or industrial workshop.  Now you’re wondering about the benefits of owning one.

Water jets, and especially those made by TechMoon, represent the state-of-the-art in cutting technologies.  These machines use pressurized water forced out through a small opening to cut through anything from wood to stone to stainless steel.

There are 5 basic benefits to owning and operating a water jet.  They include:

1: Versatility

These machines can cut through a variety of materials.  They can even cut through “material sandwiches” that combine different elements into layers.  They can be used to make just about any kind of part you need for whatever project you’re working on.

2: High-tech control

Computer programs control the water jet machine head.  You can produce what you want with just the press of a few buttons!

3: Minimized heat generation

The heat generated by a water jet machine is absorbed into the water then sent into a special catch tank.  Overall, water jets change little in temperature.  Best of all, no heat affected zones (HAZ) are created on the materials being cut.  The machine will also not cause warping nor will it generate poisonous fumes.

4: Safety

Water is non-explosive and the abrasive materials used in water jets are non-toxic.  But like all cutting equipment, you still need to exercise precautions.  At no time should you ever put a body part in front of the water jet head when it is active.  Also, should a leak occur, pressure will drop.

5: Performance/simplicity

Water jets are green, high-performance precision machines.  At the same time, their simple design makes them much easier to maintain than other types of cutting devices.

TechMoon takes pride in making affordable water jets that not only meet, but also exceed, industry standards.  And our machines are tailor-made to your specifications. Why go anywhere else when you can have everything you need and more with TechMoon?  Contact us today!
